Today I came across a pleasant surprise. I found a wonderful park in my own backyard.

I always wondered after watching movies like Notting Hill, Maid in Manhattan why don't we have good parks in India. I have visited Sanjay Gandhi [Borivili] national park, hanging gardens many times but it never matched upto any international standards and moreover the crowd sometimes is just too much for a park. But to my surprise a park at Malad(Mumbai) which I happen to visit today definitely matched international standards.

definitely an excellent park [atleast in mumbai .... ]

pros: well maintained garden , minimal and well behaved crowd , well lit [open till 2130 hrs ]

cons: nothing I could find

PS: Please don't throw anything into the bushes .... you may be in for Indian surprise ;-)
